Runway repairs see Vietnam Airlines re-schedule domestic flights

HA NOI — The national flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines, said it has changed the schedules of nearly 1,000 flights on domestic routes from February 25 to March 30, as a runway at HCM City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport has been closed for repairs.

I live in the Tây ba lô (Western backpackers) area, which consists of Bui Vien, De Tham and Pham Ngu Lao streets in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. I do not work in the tourism sector, but since I live in such a special place, I grew up loving seeing tourists gather and walk around here.
