Schengen visa application center opened in city

HCMC – A visa application center was opened on Wednesday in HCMC’s District 1 to serve those wanting to obtain visas for entry into Italy, Spain and some other member states of the Schengen Agreement.

New Schengen visa application center to open in city

HCMC – The embassies of Italy and Spain in Vietnam in collaboration with VFS Global on Wednesday announced the forthcoming operation of the new visa application center in HCMC in January 3 of next year, allowing people to apply visas for entry into these two countries.

Spain cuts funding for Metro Line No. 5

HCMC – Spain can only provide the Metro Line No. 5 project in HCMC with a fund of 200 million euros, or around US$256 million, instead of 500 million euros as planned, as the EU country is experiencing the impact of economic crisis.

Spain pledges to fund 500m euro for metro project

Spain committed to raise the funding for Vietnam's metro construction project in HCM City to 500 million euro (727 million or nearly 13.3 trillion dong), according to the agreement signed between two governments on December 15 in Madrid.

Spain eyes HCM City metro project

On the Vietnam visit from November 7 to 13, vice chair of the Confederation of Employers and Industries of Spain (CEOE), Jesús Banegas expressed that Spanish enterprises is expected to cooperate with Vietnamese partners in fields of building wharf, airport, renewable power energy, nuclear power and telecommunication.
