Vietnamese currency more stable in 2012

Vietnamese currency will be relatively more stable in 2012, the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) said in its report on the 2012 outlook on Vietnam's economy, which was announced on February 20.

Vietnam targets commodities prices

Vietnam experts welcome dong devaluation

Hanoi - Financial analysts Friday said they approved of Vietnam's move to devalue the dong, as the currency rose against the dollar on the country's black market. Gold traders, semi-official traders in dollars, were offering 19,450 dong to the dollar Friday in Hanoi, up from 19,300 on Thursday.
