Vietnam fishermen accuse foreign ship of causing boat wreck

The Vietnam Maritime Administration has asked Chinese authorities to help clarify accusations that a foreign ship which rescued Vietnamese fishermen after their boat sank last week actually caused the accident.

High tides hit S Vietnam, driving hundreds of people into misery

HANOI - At least 69 houses have collapsed into the sea due to broken dyke and more than 100 are under threat of collapse as more strong waves and high tides are forecast to hit the southern Binh Thuan province of Vietnam in the coming days, the local newspaper Labor reported Monday.
